AI research.
Sources you can check.

Search public websites and research papers with configured Focused and Deep research. Get cited reports and a source list. Check outgoing queries for private document content.

How it works

Three steps to get started.

  1. 01

    Define the question

Choose a clear question and approved external sources. Start Focused research or a Deep research task with set limits.

  2. 02

    Check the sources

Review citations and available paper details. Check coverage limits and whether any source provider failed.

  3. 03

    Review the findings

Read the report in context. Have the right person review important research findings before using them in a decision.

Features & controls

What research & literature includes.

Cited Research briefs

Use self-hosted web search to create multi-page briefs within a conversation. Keep citations on each page and an audit trail of the research steps. Regional sources can be prioritised. Live external research requires network access.

Focused and Deep research

Use Focused research for a specific question. Use configured Deep research for a longer task with a plan, source list and cited report. Deep research runs in the background within set limits and can restore progress after a reload. Topic permissions, configured services, models and run limits determine availability.

Literature search with source references

Search Europe PMC, including PubMed records, OpenAlex and arXiv when Research is enabled. Keep paper details, citations and available digital object identifier (DOI) checks. Coverage depends on provider availability and search limits. This is targeted discovery, not an exhaustive literature review.

Scientific answers with sources

A configured scientific-answer skill separates established findings from early results, and association from causation. It distinguishes source-backed figures from interpretation. Eligible native-chat answers can offer Search the literature for user review when Research and literature sources are enabled.

Privacy checks for external research

Check outgoing research queries against private document text. Block queries that fail the privacy checks. Topic settings control external sources and shared search budgets. External research needs network access and approved services.

External research needs network access, enabled topics, configured search services and supported models. Literature searches have provider limits and are not exhaustive. Deep research has permission, runtime and usage limits.
